Founded in April 2014, SERAZARD was formed as a fine art collective that produced exhibitions, popups, and fundraisers promoting and celebrating contemporary photography in NYC, LA, London, and Toronto. In Dec. 2020, we began transition and by March 2021, SERAZARD officially started its very first publication production, ‘The City’. Today, SERAZARD is a proud independent graphic novel publisher of ‘The City’ based in Toronto.
The name SERAZARD derives from 1001 Arabian Nights’ Queen Scheherazade whose motto was ‘do or die’ much like company’s roots in Bedstuy, Brooklyn.
