Yesterday, we had an early access listen to Crimdella’s upcoming EP, ‘Bury Me in Gold Vol. 1’, and it’s been bumping on repeat to its second day. Although it may be subjected to change, the 7 track EP is scheduled to be released tomorrow, September 30, 2016, as it is to honour Crim’s father’s birthday. Produced by Ivan Corpening of MNDCFT, and mastered by Peter Lincoln and Paco Hanlon, the EP is packed with a fine blend of hard hitting drums, harmonically blessed with Della’s rhythmic verses. The production is impressive; from start to end, each track stands strong on its own. Despite being it a bit low tempo, the overruling theme with Crim’s delivery makes the EP come off ambitious and thoughtful. The features are dope as well, and without giving out too much, this is a landmark accomplished by the Harlem rapper, and we are already excited for volume 2.
All the tracks are fucking dope. Our current favourite is ‘Now or Never’. Shit is a classic.
